Bags are awesome

Our special in-home class featured one of my favourite tools. The Envelope Punch Board. This little cutie was made from the 12x12 inch Neutrals envelope paper. I love this paper for making envelopes for special occasions, it's stronger than regular paper and less bulky than cardstock.

In keeping with the Awesomely Artistic theme which was the Stamp set of the day. We cut a circle using the Circle Framelits and used this as a mask. We sponged Blackberry Bliss (ooooh I love this colour) from the circle and then stamped over randomly the images. The Dragonfly was stamped once more once the mask was removed.

To hold the flap of the bag down the Build a Bow punch was used to make this cute bow. Stamping the bow and also stamping another Dragonfly to cut out. We sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds on the wings.

I just can't help myself every time I get started using my Envelope Punch Board I just can't put it down. So stay tuned you may see some more cute projects.

It is right now I would also again like to "Thank" a very generous Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in the UK that has made my life so easy for me to make all my boxes.  Her name is Joanne James and she has generously allowed people to use her Box Buster calculator. If you have an Envelop Punch Board and want to make a box head on over to the link above and see how easy it is.
